Lipo-Dissolve is a non-surgical fat removal treatment which removes fat cells from the body naturally, without the lengthy, painful recovery time associated with invasive surgical procedures such as liposuction. It is intended to reduce stubborn pockets of fat that haven’t responded effectively to diet and exercise. The ideal client for lipo-dissolve is one who maintains a healthy lifestyle, and is no more than 30 pounds overweight. This non-invasive technique is most commonly used to reduce abdominal fat, “love handles”, thighs and cellulite.

Experience with Lipo-dissolve and Mesotherapy

Dr. Bieg has received training on Park Avenue, New York on the French technique of mesotherapy. He has also trained in Scottsdale, AZ on the American technique of lipo-dissolve. Dr. Bieg, the Medical Director of Pender Medi Spa, conducted his own study for the treatment of “love-handle” a number of years ago. One side was treated with the American Lipo-Dissolve treatment and the other side with the French Meso-therapy technique. In all 29 clients the side with the French technique had superior results. For “bellies” and “love-handles”; this is our preferred therapy. To the best of our knowledge, no other physician in Vancouver is using the same successful formulation

All clients are weighed, and measured prior to treatments, in order to validate the great result.

The surgical options are Liposuction and the “Smart Lipo”. Both of these treatments require an incision to enter the skin. Liposuction has the limitation of being restricted in how much fat can be removed at one time due to the risks of hypovolemic shock. The procedure, if not done perfectly, can leave hollows interspersed wit ridges; making it look like severe Cellulite. The bruising is extensive and may last many weeks. The “Smart Lipo” also requires an incision. A 1,064nanometer laser is inserted which burns the fat cells, which are subsequently removed. Although it also causes bruising it is not as severe as with traditional Liposuction.
The Lipo-sculpturing technique utilized by Pender Medi Spa destroys the Fat Cells and requires no incisions. The bruising is minimal, and generally resolves within 10 days.
